Edward Jackson

Edward Jackson is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa, holding appointments in both the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. His expertise spans higher education policy, economic development, and community-university partnerships. He has advised international development programs, including those in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, and collaborated with organizations like the Rockefeller and MasterCard Foundations.

Research interests include climate finance, gender lens investing, affordable housing, food security, and evaluating impact investment programs. His work has been cited in over 150 peer-reviewed social science journals. He holds honorary appointments at Carleton University (Canada), the Institute of Development Studies (UK), and the Institute for Policy Alternatives (Ghana).
