Edward Hall is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation at Northumbria University. He is the founder of the think-tank Sociological Innovations in Sport Exchange (SiS-X), which bridges theory and practice in sports coaching. His research focuses on the relational, political, and emotional complexities of sports work, with a mission to inform workforce development. He has led impactful projects with organizations like UEFA and the Scottish Rugby Union, contributing to global policy changes. Edward holds editorial roles at Sports Coaching Review and Graduate Journal of Sport Science, and has served on external review panels for multiple universities.
