Edward Golding is the Executive Director of the MIT Golub Center for Finance and Policy and a Senior Lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management. He holds a PhD in Economics from Princeton University (1982) and an AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University (1976). Prior to his current role, he served as head of the Federal Housing Administration (2015–2017), senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and executive at Freddie Mac (1989–2012).
