Edward Cohen is Professor at San José State University's School of Social Work. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and brings over 17 years of clinical and administrative experience from mental health agencies. His research focuses on adolescent mental health, international mental health services, child welfare systems, and social work workforce development.
Cohen has led multiple community-based research projects, including evaluations of substance abuse interventions and mental health services in juvenile justice systems.
