Edward Bahnson, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Physiology at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. His research focuses on diabetic vasculopathies, leveraging nanotechnology to develop targeted therapies for cardiovascular diseases. His lab is part of the Center for Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery and investigates redox dysfunction mechanisms in atherosclerosis, including environmental factors like air pollution.
