Edmund Dain is a Professor of Philosophy and Assistant Chair in the Department of Philosophy at Providence College. He holds a Ph.D. from Cardiff University (2006). His research focuses on Wittgenstein’s philosophy, moral thought, philosophy of mind, and the interplay between imaginative resistance and moral cognition. Dain has contributed to debates on other minds, perception, and the unity of propositions. He has served on multiple professional service committees, including roles spanning 2011–2018.
