Edla da Silva

Edla da Silva, PT, MSc, PhD, is an Associate Professor in PT Programs at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (Austin, TX campus). She holds a PhD in Neurology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and an MSc in Neurology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul.

Her expertise includes post-stroke rehabilitation, pediatric neurodevelopment, and cognitive neuroscience. As former coordinator of Physiotherapy at the University of Caxias do Sul, she developed MOH-approved academic programs and directed a neuropediatric clinic for eight years.
