Edit Hunyadi

Edit Hunyadi is a Doctoral Research Associate at the Department of Environmental Sociology, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. She contributes to research on social-environmental transformation, environmental leadership, and critical social theories of change and desire.

• Education: Advanced Training Certificate in Ecopsychology (Pacifica Graduate Institute), M.Sc. in Degrowth (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), and degrees in Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest.

Her research focuses on psychopolitical dimensions of transformation, plural values in biodiversity decision-making, and intersectionality in environmental governance. She participates in Horizon Europe projects like PLANET4B and DAISY, analyzing leverage points for systemic change.
