Edgar Weiss serves as Professor and Department Head of Personal Development and Methodological Competence at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna since 2007, specializing in the intersection of human factors research and project management. His academic leadership spans all university degree programs with a focus on practical organizational development.

His research centers on team and organizational dynamics and decision management, with deep exploration into uncertainty handling in project environments.
