Eddy Taylor

Eddy Taylor is a chartered town planner and urban designer, currently serving as a Tutor (MAAU Theory) at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). He also teaches on Planning courses at the University of Liverpool. In addition to his academic roles, he directs PlanSpace, a Liverpool-based urban design and planning consultancy operating across the UK and internationally. Eddy holds professional qualifications including MRTPI, MCD, and an MA in Urban Design.

His research and professional practice focus on urban planning strategies, sustainable urban design, and the intersection of policy and spatial development. He contributes to academic and professional discourse through his consultancy work and teaching, emphasizing practical applications of urban theory.

PlanSpace, under his direction, specializes in delivering innovative solutions for urban challenges, combining planning expertise with design principles to shape resilient and inclusive cities.
