Eddie Jones

Professor Eddie Jones is a faculty member at the University of Exeter's Department of English, specializing in English Medieval Literature and Culture. His research focuses on late-medieval religious culture, including hermits, anchorites, manuscripts, and the history of the book.

He supervises PhD students working on Middle English texts, saints' lives, prayers, and 16th-century nun studies. He organizes the Exeter Symposia on the Medieval Mystical Tradition and edits their proceedings, while also serving on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Medieval Religious Cultures.
