Ed Heffernan

Professor Ed Heffernan is an Academic Title Holder at the Royal Brisbane Clinical Unit and School of Public Health, The University of Queensland. He serves as Head of the Forensic Mental Health Research Stream and Military and Veterans' Mental Health Research Stream, while also holding the position of Director at Queensland Forensic Mental Health Service. Based at Level 3, Dawson House, The Park Centre for Mental Health Treatment, Research and Education in Wacol, QLD 4076, his work focuses on public health and clinical mental health research.

He is affiliated with the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research (QCMHR), where he contributes to the Business Unit Management Committee and leads forensic and military mental health research streams. His research interests include:
