EVELYNE SAMAMA is a Professor of Ancient History at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, affiliated with the Institute of Cultural and International Studies (IECI) and the Dynamic Heritage and Cultural Laboratory (DYPAC). She serves as Director of Training for the MIP (Music, Performance, Heritage) and FoSMI (Higher Training for Performing Musicians) degrees. Her research focuses on the history of health, medicine, and public health policies in the Greco-Roman world, spanning medical terminology, disability studies, and cultural exchanges in ancient medicine.
