Dylan Carpenter

Dylan Carpenter teaches creative writing and rhetoric at the University of Maryland. His creative and scholarly work bridges poetry composition, literary translation from Spanish, and pedagogical approaches to writing instruction.

Research interests include:

• Formal and experimental poetics
• Cross-cultural translation methodologies
• Interdisciplinary writing pedagogy

Poems and translations have appeared in Cimarron Review, The Iowa Review, and Modern Poetry in Translation.
