Dwight Rhoden serves as Professor and Artistic Faculty in the College of Performing Arts at Chapman University, where he combines academic instruction with his professional dance career. His extensive global presence spans performances and residencies across five continents, with notable affiliations including New York University, Juilliard, and The University of Mississippi.
Rhoden's research interests focus on contemporary ballet innovation, multicultural dance expression, and post-modern choreographic techniques. His work challenges traditional boundaries through techno-savvy aesthetics and diverse artistic collaborations.
Scientific awards include the New York Foundation for the Arts Award, Choo San Goh Award for Choreography, and The Ailey School’s Apex Award. His recent creative works demonstrate a fusion of live music with dynamic movement across various prestigious venues.
