Position: Assistant Professor of Oboe at Bowling Green State University's College of Musical Arts. Former Principal Oboist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (2007–present), and previously held the same role with the San Diego Symphony. A New World Symphony Fellow and guest principal oboist with orchestras including the New York Philharmonic and Berlin's Deutsches Symphonie.
Education:
- Master's Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music (studied with John Mack)
- Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern California (studied with Allan Vogel and David Weiss)
Teaching & Performance: Adjunct Assistant Professor at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Gives masterclasses internationally, including at the University of Michigan and UNLV. Faculty at Interlochen Academy for the Arts and Stellenbosch Festival (South Africa). Featured performer/judge at the 2018 Sony International Oboe Competition in Tokyo.
Artistic Affiliations: Loreé Artist. Performs concertos, recitals, and chamber music, specializing in works by Mozart, Haydn, Bach, and others.
Other Interests: Enjoys Broadway, jazz, bluegrass, and symphony performances. Active in hiking, running, volunteering, and culinary experimentation.
