Durronjae Boothe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Howard University. He received his PhD and MA in Economics from Georgia State University, along with an MSc in Economics and a BSc in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica.
Dr. Boothe is an applied microeconomist specializing in labor economics, education economics, and development economics. His current research focuses on education economics, analyzing how policies like grading reforms and school scheduling changes impact educational equity, student decisions, academic success, and long-term labor market outcomes across developed and developing countries.
