Durand Cupido

Dr Durand Cupido is a Lecturer at the Essex Law School, University of Essex. His research focuses on environmental protection within maritime law, particularly examining salvage operations and corporate governance in shipping incidents. He teaches Legal Research Skills (LW254) and supervises PhD students in Law, including Iman Abdulrahman M Alfaraj and Ridvan Bagriacik. Former supervisee Anna Cheimonidou completed her PhD in 2021.
