Dr. Duncan Robert Cowan is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia's School of Earth and Oceans. He holds a B.Sc. Hons in Geology (1963) and a Ph.D. in Scandinavian Caledonides (1966) from the University of Nottingham. With over 55 years of global experience in exploration geophysics and geology, his work spans projects in Finland, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Botswana, Mauritania, and Tanzania.
