Duncan Alexander Adamson

Duncan Alexander Adamson is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science at the University of St Andrews. His research focuses on algorithm design, computational complexity, and graph theory with applications to robotics and discrete mathematics.

Research areas include:

• Collision-free scheduling algorithms for multi-robot systems
• Efficient enumeration of graph walks
• Harmonious coloring of temporal graphs
• Subsequence optimization problems

Received Best Paper Award at SAND 2024 for work on robot scheduling algorithms. Current projects explore fundamental problems in combinatorial algorithm design with robotics applications.
