Dr. Duane Yoder serves as Director of the School of Computing, Analytics, and Modeling and Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of West Georgia's Dr. Perry College of Mathematics, Computing, and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University (2003), an M.S. from the University of Michigan (1994), and a B.S. from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (1993).
His research includes MRI distortion correction techniques and pedagogical innovations in computer science education. Yoder teaches core programming courses including Computer Science I/II, Program Construction, and oversees computing internships. Prior to academia, he worked extensively as a software engineer.
