Dragos Vieru is a Full Professor of Information Technology at TELUQ University of Quebec, Canada, and currently serves as a Visiting International Professor (VIP) at the host institution from June 2–10, 2025. He holds a Ph.D. in IT from HEC Montreal and a M.Sc. in Management of Information Systems from the John Molson School of Business.
His research focuses on IT-driven organizational transformation, knowledge sharing mechanisms, and IT sourcing strategies. He has published in journals like Journal of Knowledge Management and presented at major conferences such as ICIS and HICSS. He chairs the Social-Technical Issues in Organizational Information Technologies mini-track at HICSS.
Prior to academia, he spent 15+ years as an IT project manager in Canada's public healthcare sector. Since 2017, he has regularly taught seminars at the host institution’s Institute for Information Systems, including “IS-Ethics” (Bachelor level) and “Digital Transformation and Ambidexterity” (Master level). His office is located at Leonardo-Campus 3, Room 324.
