Dr. Douglas Wilson is an Assistant Professor in Learning Design and Technology at George Mason University's College of Education and Human Development. He serves as Academic Program Coordinator for Learning Design and Technology and Professor-in-Charge of the e-Learning Graduate Certificate. Previously, he held roles as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University-Commerce and contributed instructional design expertise to institutions like Dallas College and Southern Methodist University.
Dr. Wilson holds a PhD in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State University and an MS in Journalism from Columbia University. Before academia, he worked as a television news reporter in major markets. His research focuses on online teaching, instructional design, AR/VR-XR, and xAPI.
