Douglas Portman is a Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Rochester, affiliated with the School of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on understanding how biological sex modulates neuronal circuits and behavior in the nematode C. elegans, with particular emphasis on sex differences in neural circuit function and development.
