Douglas Guerrette

Douglas Guerrette is an Instructor and Program Coordinator in the School of Accounting at Husson University's College of Business. Licensed as a CPA in Maine, he emphasizes continuous professional development through certifications like Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). In parallel, he operates as a self-employed State Farm Insurance Agent with over 21 years in the industry.

His professional experience spans 28+ years across accounting (public/private sectors), insurance, and financial services. Community involvement includes roles at St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Bangor, serving as an extraordinary minister, and pursuing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology at St. Joseph’s College of Maine (completion July 2026). He is also a 4-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
