Douglas Bennett

Douglas Bennett is a Professor of Political Science at Southern Utah University (SUU), where he serves as Chair of the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. With prior experience as Counsel to the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, a partner in Washington D.C. lobbying firms, and Vice President for Federal and International Affairs at Liberty Mutual, he brings practical political expertise to his teaching. Bennett earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah after completing his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy there.
