Doug Aubrey

Dr. Doug Aubrey is an Associate Professor in Forest Ecophysiology & Energy Ecology at the University of Georgia, affiliated with the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources and the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory (SREL). His research focuses on how biotic and abiotic factors influence tree physiology and ecosystem processes, particularly water, carbon, and nitrogen cycling in forests. He leads the Aubrey Forest Ecophysiology Lab, exploring applied bioenergy production and sustainability while addressing fundamental ecological questions.
