Doron Goldbarsht is an Associate Professor at Macquarie Law School, Macquarie University, specializing in Financial Crime. He is the founder and Director of the Financial Integrity Hub, Australia's leading research center on financial crime, which brings together experts from government, industry, and academia to mitigate financial crime risks. He holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales, an LLM and LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
His research focuses on domestic and international anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations, compliance mechanisms, and the intersection of financial innovation with regulatory frameworks. His publications explore global AML/CTF standards implementation and compliance challenges across different jurisdictions.
Honors include the Highly Commended Faculty Research Excellence Award (2024) and Sir Anthony Mason PhD Award. He supervises higher degree research students and teaches courses including Anti-Money Laundering Law and Financial Integrity in Action.
