Doris Villarreal

Doris Villarreal is an Assistant Professor of Education Preparation and Leadership at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin (2019), an M.Ed. from Southwest Texas State University, and a B.A. from St. Edward's University. Her research focuses on bilingual education, hybrid language practices, and culturally diverse teaching contexts, with a particular emphasis on Latinx children and literacy teacher education.
