Doris Dialer serves as Attachée for Health and Consumer Protection at the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU in Brussels. Previously, from February 2020 to March 2021, she held responsibility for EU, WHO, International and Socio-Political Affairs in the Cabinet of the Austrian Minister for Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection. Academically, she is an Associate Lecturer at the University for Applied Sciences Kehl, University of Continuing Education Krems, and Centre International de Formation Européenne (CIFE).
Dr. Dialer holds a Master of Arts and Doctorate in European Studies, reflecting her deep expertise in European integration and governance structures.
Her research specializes in EU Parliamentarism, informed by nearly fourteen years as a MEP's Head of Office, alongside EU Lobbying & Advocacy, EU Health & Consumer Policy, and EU Consultative Bodies including the EESC and CoR. This work bridges practical political experience with academic analysis of EU decision-making processes.
As a founding member of the Innsbruck Center for European Research (ICER), she contributes to institutional scholarship while co-editing the 'Europawissenschaftliche Reihe' book series (Nomos/iup), advancing publications on European studies.
