Doreen Francey

Doreen Francey is a Lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Lewis School of Health & Life Sciences, Clarkson University. With over 20 years of experience in occupational therapy, she has worked across diverse clinical environments, including inpatient hospital care, nursing homes, home care, and outpatient hand therapy clinics.

Her research and professional interests align with Occupational Therapy, Clinical Practice, Rehabilitation, Kinesiology, Hand Therapy, and Health Education. She has contributed to community education initiatives on hand therapy through pamphlets and health fairs.

Currently, she serves as a Staff Hand Therapist/Occupational Therapist at Canton Potsdam Hospital and supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in program development. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her four children, hiking, and walking their dog.
