Dop Bessenger

Dop Bessenger is a faculty member at Randolph College, where he teaches English and creative writing. He is a published poet and playwright, and his work has appeared in national literary journals. He has received the Great Plains Emerging Writer Award and has been recognized in the Pushcart Prize Anthology. His research interests include the intersection of poetry and social justice, and he is currently working on a new collection of poems.
