Donna Dimond is a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), affiliated with the Department of HAS - Allied Health Professions. She joined UWE in 2011 after a clinical career specializing in pediatric imaging at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where she rose to Superintendent Radiographer. She holds an MSc in Medical Imaging, PGCert in Teaching and Learning, BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, and a Diploma in Radiography.
Research Expertise: Her work focuses on pediatric trauma imaging, non-accidental injury assessment, musculoskeletal reporting, and radiographic education. She leads professional development courses in image interpretation and pediatric radiography, influencing national standards through her role in the Children’s Imaging Taskforce.
