Donna Bramwell is a Research Associate in the Health Policy, Organisation and Economics (HOPE) research group at the University of Manchester's Centre for Primary Care, Division of Population Health. Her work focuses on health policy, healthcare organizations, and community health services, with a sociological perspective on health inequality and workforce dynamics. She currently leads projects on integrated care structures and NIHR-funded studies to reduce hospital admissions through community health services. Her qualitative methods include ethnography, thematic analysis, and grounded theory. She collaborates with the Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Systems and Commissioning (PRUComm).
Donna holds a PhD in Primary Care and a BA (Hons) in Psychology with Sociology. Her research contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals addressing health equity and systemic improvements. She has been involved in media discussions on public health messaging during the pandemic and family court reforms related to domestic abuse cases.
