Donja Amirpur

Prof. Dr. Donja Amirpur is a Professor in the Department of Social Work at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and serves as Vice President for University Culture and Diversity. Her research focuses on migration education, intersectional and anti-racist social work, post-migrant cultural work, and childhood/family research. She leads projects like 'Forum Postmigrantische Perspektiven' and 'ZeM' journal, emphasizing inclusive education and social justice.

Her academic leadership includes roles as spokesperson for the Villa Merländer Council and chair of the DGfE's Interkulturelle Bildung Commission. She has received the 2016 Augsburg Science Prize for intercultural studies. Her teaching spans migration, intersectional feminism, and post-migrant cultural practices at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key projects include 'So früh wie möglich' (addressing barriers for migrant families in early education) and 'ProMinKa' (professionalizing inclusive childcare at migration-behavioral interfaces).
