Donald W. Radford is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University's Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering. Directs Composite Materials, Manufacture and Structures Laboratory researching advanced composites and additive manufacturing.
Research develops composite manufacturing processes including resin transfer molding, additive manufacturing of continuous fiber composites, and process-induced distortion control. Current DOE-funded projects focus on robotic additive manufacturing of wind turbine blade structures.
