Donal Cook

Donal Cook serves as a Lecturer in Policing at the University of Kent, a position he has held since October 2021. He is an integral member of the team operating under the Police Education Qualification Framework (PEQF), which is responsible for the delivery of the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and the Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP). These programs provide higher education pathways for police constables and degree-holding candidates entering police service.

With extensive background in operational policing from the Metropolitan Police and Sussex Police forces, Mr. Cook brings practical field experience to his academic role. His professional interests focus on:
