Dr. Don Stelluto serves as Co-Director of the Center for Citizenship and Constitutional Government at the University of Notre Dame’s College of Arts and Letters. He specializes in U.S. Constitutional history and 19th century studies, with a focus on southern constitutionalism and Civil War-era legal issues. Prior roles include executive director of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, associate director of the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study, and faculty at California State University, Fullerton. His research spans legal history, the American South, and Civil War dynamics, with a current book project exploring Civil War-era courts and constitutional challenges.
