Don Phillippi

Don Phillippi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science at Kansas State University's College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering (2010) from the University of California, San Diego, along with advanced degrees in structural engineering and dual bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering (1984) and Architecture (1989) from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. His research focuses on advanced structural analysis techniques, including 3D non-linear modeling and fiber modeling for bridge and building structures, with particular emphasis on carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) jackets for concrete columns.
