Dominique Wolbert

Dominique Wolbert is a Full Professor at the Rennes National Graduate School of Chemistry (ENSC Rennes) in France. He graduated with a BSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Pau (1987) and earned a MSc in Chemical Engineering from ENSIGC in Toulouse. He completed his PhD in analytical differentiation and optimization in process simulators through collaboration between ENSIGC and Carnegie Mellon University (1994). From 1992 to 1994, he served as a Teaching Assistant at INSA Toulouse’s Industrial Process Engineering Department, focusing on environmental water treatment modeling. His current research spans environmental engineering, emphasizing physical/chemical treatments for trace compounds, and process optimization. He holds the position of Scientific Director at ENSC Rennes.
