Dominique Chamoret

Dominique Chamoret serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Design, Optimization and Modeling in Mechanics at the University of Technology of Belfort Montbéliard (UTBM) in France.

Dr. Chamoret holds a Doctorate in Mechanics from École Centrale de Lyon (2002) and a DEA in Mathematics and Theoretical Mechanics from the University of Montpellier II (1999). His academic foundation combines strong theoretical mathematics with practical mechanical engineering applications.

His research interests span mechanics, design optimization, and mathematical modeling, reflecting his departmental focus and academic background. These areas connect to industrial applications through his work at UTBM's engineering institution.

Dr. Chamoret has maintained a stable academic career at UTBM since 2004 as a Lecturer (section 60), affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Carnot Laboratory of Burgundy, COMM Department. His professional development includes significant post-doctoral research experiences that strengthened his expertise.

Prior to his current position, he completed two specialized post-doctoral appointments: at Delft University of Technology's Faculty of Aerospace Engineering (2003-2004) and at INSA Lyon's LAMCOS laboratory (2003).
