Dominik Gutnik

Dominik Gutnik serves as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Chair of Structural and Functional Ceramics, University of Leoben, where he contributes to advanced materials research within the institute's core team. His work focuses on critical ceramic material properties and testing methodologies.

His research spans Materials Science and Ceramics Engineering, specializing in structural/functional ceramic behavior, mechanical property characterization, and fracture mechanics. This includes developing predictive models for strength testing (B3B, NBT, SCF) and analyzing failure mechanisms in high-performance ceramics for industrial applications.

The institute actively engages in contract research, standard examinations, and both ongoing/completed projects related to ceramic material validation.
