Dominic J Egan

Dominic J Egan is a Lecturer (Teaching & Scholarship) in Adult Nursing at the University of Leeds, affiliated with the School of Healthcare within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. He holds a BSc in Health Studies from Leeds Metropolitan University (1997) and an M.Ed in Clinical Education from the University of Leeds (2015). His clinical background spans over 30 years in intensive care units across Bradford, Leeds, and Sydney, Australia, specializing in general, cardiac, and neuro ICUs.

Academically, he focuses on teaching acute and complex care, critical care, advanced practice, and clinical skills to undergraduate and post-registration healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical students, and physician associates.
