Mr Dominic Burke is a Lecturer in the Department of Business at South East Technological University (SETU), Carlow campus, since 2000. He holds a Master of Letters in International Economics from Trinity College Dublin (2000) and an MA in International Economic & Finance from Maynooth University (1995), alongside a BA (Hons) in Economics from University College Dublin (1990). His academic career includes teaching roles at Maynooth University, Trinity College Dublin, and SETU, with expertise in Managerial Economics, Macroeconomics, International Business, and the Global Economy.
Research interests focus on international trade policy, monetary policy, foreign exchange determination, gender equality, regional economic policy, SME internationalization, social enterprise, and sports ecology. He actively contributes to academic governance, including roles in Academic Council, Programme Planning, and Postgraduate Research Programme Boards. He supervises undergraduate and postgraduate student dissertations in Management, Human Resource Management, and Supply Chain Management.
