About
Professor Dmitry Reznik is a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the University of Colorado. His research focuses on experimental condensed matter physics using neutron, x-ray, and Raman scattering techniques to study correlated electron systems and exotic materials such as perovskite oxides, high-temperature superconductors, and manganites.
Research Interests:
- Exotic magnetic phases in quantum materials
- Electron-phonon interactions in complex oxides
- Polaronic physics and phase transitions
- Development of ultra-fast UV-capable Raman spectroscopy
Laboratory Infrastructure: Maintains a state-of-the-art Raman laboratory in Boulder and collaborates with major user facilities like the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) and Advanced Photon Source (APS).
