Dmitry Krass

Dmitry Krass is a Professor of Operations Management and Statistics at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, holding the Sydney C. Cooper Chair in Business and Technology. He earned his PhD and MSE from Johns Hopkins University and a BSc from the University of Chicago.

Research Interests: His work focuses on facility location models, transportation and reliability optimization, inventory location modeling, and humanitarian logistics. He also explores environmental modeling, pollution regulation, and big data applications in business decision-making through predictive and prescriptive analytics.

Professional Activities: Active in consultancy, he specializes in predictive analytics and operational effectiveness. His academic contributions span over three decades since joining the school in 1989.
