Dmitry Igorevich Ryabtsev

Dmitry Igorevich Ryabtsev is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, Department of Software Engineering at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), where he began working in 2024. With a unique interdisciplinary background bridging medicine and computer science, he brings over a decade of medical experience to his academic role.

His educational background includes a Master's degree in Software Engineering from HSE (2024), Candidate of Medical Sciences (2014), and a Doctor qualification in General Medicine from Stavropol State Medical University (2007). Prior to joining HSE, he worked as an ophthalmologist at various institutions including the Helmholtz Research Institute of Eye Diseases, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in the USA, and Russian Railways medical services.

Ryabtsev's research bridges computer science and medical applications, with particular focus on data analysis in biology and medicine, artificial intelligence in medicine, medical imaging, and medical information systems.
