Div Pithadia

Div Pithadia serves as a Lecturer and Program Coordinator for the Data Science, M.S. program within the Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of New Haven's Tagliatela College of Engineering. With over two decades of industry experience, he bridges academic instruction with real-world technology leadership.

Dr. Pithadia holds an MBA in International Business and MS in Software Engineering from Fairfield University, along with a Bachelor's in Engineering in Computer Science from Mumbai University. His educational background has prepared him for his dual career path in both industry and academia.

His research and teaching interests focus on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing technologies. Pithadia brings practical industry perspective to his classroom, having developed strategic technology solutions for healthcare, enterprise, and government sectors. His expertise spans digital transformation initiatives and scalable technology platform development, which directly informs his graduate-level instruction in Python, Cloud, and Data Science for postgraduate engineering students.

As a technology leader, Pithadia has served as CTO and Product leader at organizations including Capify (a Multinational Financial Services firm) and Dun & Bradstreet. He has been instrumental in founding and growing startups, functioning both as an operator and mentor. His professional philosophy combines technical expertise with business management and change management principles to deliver transformation roadmaps incorporating the latest technological innovations.
