Dimitris Perodaskalakis

Dimitris Perodaskalakis is a researcher in the Department of Classical Studies at the University of Crete. He earned his PhD in Classical Literature from the same university, supervised by Loukia Athanasaki, with a thesis titled "Tragic Passion in Sophocles: The Intradramatic View and Its Structure."

Publications: His work includes a 2012 book on Sophocles' tragic spectacle and human passion, as well as articles in collective volumes and journals. He is also a poet, having published five collections with Gavriilidis Publications, including "The Sphinx Sent an E-mail" (2018).
