Dimitris G. Angelakis is a Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Crete and Director of the Quantum Optics and Quantum Information Research Group. He also serves as a visiting Principal Investigator at the Singapore Center for Quantum Technologies. Previously, he held positions at the University of Cambridge, including Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Quantum Computation (2002-2007), Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (2001-2007), and Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the Department of Science (2008-2012).
